Location. The historical Ascot Hotel is located in a converted building in the city centre of Copenhagen, Denmark. The hotel is 200 metres from the famous Town Hall and the city's central train station. The Tivoli Gardens amusement park is 400 metres away.
Hotel Features. The Ascot Hotel's lobby features antique furniture and a wooden staircase. Black columns rise from the amber-and-black stone flooring to a spectacular white vaulted ceiling. Staff at the 24- hour front desk provide information on Copenhagen attractions, and there is onsite parking (surcharge).

The Ascot Hotel offers a complimentary buffet breakfast in its spacious dining room with designer lightshades and spiral staircase. Drinks are served in the lounge bar.

The hotel offers wireless Internet access, and meeting and conference rooms for small groups.

The hotel has a well-equipped fitness room, and a tanning booth.

Guestrooms. The Ascot Hotel's 169 guestrooms feature white walls and brightly coloured furnishings. All rooms offer satellite television and dial-up Internet connections (surcharge).

Expert Tip. The designer shops and market stalls of the Stroget, the world's longest pedestrian street, are just a short walk away in central Copenhagen.

Distance to Ascot Hotel is 15 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Direct trains run between Terminal 3's station and Copenhagen central station every 10 minutes. There are regular trains to other locations in Denmark and Sweden. The Ascot Hotel is situated in the city centre, 200 metres from the central train station. Taxis wait in front of Terminals 1 and 3 and cost around 160 DKK-200 DKK to the city centre. This price includes taxes and tips, and credit cards can be used. Bus numbers 9, 30, 500S and 250S run between the airport and the city centre (and beyond) until midnight every day. The number 96N runs throughout the night. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The Ascot Hotel is located on Studiestraede Fra, 200 metres from the central station. Buses, an underground metro, trains, and water-buses provide excellent transportation throughout the city. One ticket can be used for all types of public transport. Bicycles are a popular way to explore Copenhagen, and there are a number of cycle paths in the city. Complimentary parking is available onsite.
