The Novotel Aachen City is a modern property located in city centre, just 500 metres from the historic Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 154 guestrooms, over five floors, feature light, modern decor and wood furnishings. All offer satellite television, wireless and dial-up Internet connections, direct-dial phones, minibars, coffee/tea-makers, safes and bathrooms with tubs, showers and makeup mirrors.
Health-conscious guests can work out on the fitness equipment, and then unwind in the hot tub and sauna. The hotel restaurant serves light, Mediterranean dishes in a contemporary setting, while drinks and snacks are available until late in the relaxed, modern bar. The concierge is on hand to advise on sightseeing opportunities and book tickets for events, tours and excursions. The hotel houses seven meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 80 people, and those with laptops can check their e-mails via wireless Internet access. Other amenities include a 24-hour front desk, a business centre, currency exchange, a safe-deposit box and a gift shop. Guests arriving by car will find a parking garage on site. Visitors keen to explore the surrounding area will find the thermal baths, the Ludwig Forum Museum and the theatre within 750 metres. Those keen to try their luck can head to the casino, 500 metres away. The nearest golf course is 15 kilometres from the hotel. Maastricht Aachen Airport is 35 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Driving directions: From the airport take the A2 for Valkenburg/Aachen, exit for the A76 for Valls/ Kerkrade/Aachen. Exit for Aachen Zentrum and continue until the traffic lights. Turn left towards the centre, then turn right at the next traffic lights. The hotel is on the left.
