The Hotel Du Congres in Brussels spans four 19th century townhouses. This hotel is well-located just one kilometre from both the Grande Place (the main square) and the European Parliament. The 67 renovated guestrooms are elegantly designed with high ceilings, dark wood furniture and white and cream fabrics. All come with private bathrooms, telephones, satellite televisions and hair dryers, and have views over the street or garden.
The reception desk of the Du Congres is open 24 hours, and guests can make use of Internet connections in public areas, or enjoy breakfast in the airy breakfast room. Two new meeting rooms offer a full range of technical equipment and overlook the garden. The central position of this hotel means that all the major sights of Brussels are within 1-2 kilometres, such as the Grande Place or the city park.
The closest airport to the Hotel Du Congres is Brussels International; approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 11 kilometres. The railway station can be found on the basement level, below the terminal building. Airport City Express trains to the city depart approximately every 10-30 minutes to Brussels' three main stations. Metered taxis are available outside the arrivals hall; licensed cabs have a yellow and blue emblem and should cost around 30 EUR to the hotel. De Lijn buses run also every 45 minutes to the city.
